My journey into the world of upholstery began in Paris, training inside a tiny artisan studio tucked away in the historic, winding streets of Montmartre. It was there that I first fell in love with the patience, structure, and artistry required to bring furniture back to life.

When I chose to put down permanent roots along the wild Cornish coastline, I formalised and advanced my craft, studying both contemporary and traditional upholstery techniques at Polliander Studios to earn my AMUSF qualification (Association of Master Upholsterers & Soft Furnishers). This training gave me the skills needed to work as a true designer-maker.

My practice is deeply rooted in the circular economy and a passion for creating healthy, sustainable environments. I love collaborating with clients to prioritise natural materials, fabrics, and fillings. By swapping out standard synthetic foams for breathable British wool, organic coir, and natural latex, I ensure every bespoke commission and reupholstery project is as gentle on the planet as it is beautiful in your home.
