My Story
I started my training in upholstery while living in Paris, further developing my skills in contemporary and traditional techniques in Cornwall.
Before founding my studio, I worked in alternative education, where I learned to value curiosity, questioning, and reimagining norms. That background shapes how I see design today ā as a way to rethink our relationship with the spaces and objects we live with.
Rooted in experiences living between South Africa and France, I am inspired by cultures that celebrate both raw nature and refined craftsmanship. These places continue to inspire my work as I travel back to source unique fabrics that carry their own stories of origin and artistry.
I decided to place my roots in wild Cornwall, and when Iām not creating in my studio, you will find me on the coastal path or at the beach.
